I had the opportunity to visit Hummel Park in Plainfield, IN, and it was gorgeous. I wasn’t quite sure what it was going to be like (nor was I confident in my ability to correctly execute the directions given, which led to me being about 30 minutes early for the shoot).
It was a perfect, crisp fall day with a bright, cloudless, blue sky; throw on top of that me with a camera and 30 extra minutes and it’s more than likely that a few pictures will result.

Ooh, lookie, the birds are advertising for Nike!!
(See, commercialism really is everywhere!)
I actually see the “check into cash” thing. The picture itself is actually upsidedown. I was bent over backwards following the birds as they went overhead trying to quickly change my camera settings.
I like the first picture. I’m really into sunbursts right now…perhaps I’ll play around with that idea more in actual shoots (you’d like to see that, wouldn’t you folks?)
