Rick and I went to the fair last week, and realized that it was the first time we’ve ever gone to a fair, just us; we usually have friends or family come along with us. However, this year, it didn’t work out that way. The Fayette County Fair may be small (what can I say, I grew up in Indy, going to the State Fair every year), but it is fun.
Here are a few pictures from the evening. I didn’t want to worry about my camera while we were there, so we brought along our point-and-shoot, and all the photography work (except the one of him) is done by my husband.
Rick and I on the Tilt-a-Whirl, my favorite ride.
Though I’m usually not a huge fan of pictures of me, I like the movement in this picture.
Rick and I on the fastest movin’ Ferris Wheel ever.
In this you can see my left hand, and Rick’s left hand…and the death grip we both maintained on the bar the entire ride.
Now a few of Rick’s random artistic shots.

Rick took some great shots. I didn’t ride any rides. I should have at least rode the Tilt-A-Whirl. I love any thing that makes me dizzy! LOL Not so fond of heights though!
I wish the fair was bigger! About the only thing I go for is the food! LOL
Hi Sweetheart!
Was so good to hear from you. You really look like you are having fun. I always enjoyed going to the boone county fair, I always gained about 5 lbs. Don’t ride the rides anymore, but the ferris wheel used to be my favorite.
Haven’t heard from your Aunt Debby or Angie all week . Guess they are busy too.
Did I tell you that my instructor at the photography class I took said that the first place was taken at the big photography contest in Indy, for two or three years in a row were taken at Crown Hill cemetery.
